Calvin Chow Calvin Chow

About

Calvin Chow is a Singaporean artist and photographer with an interest in the relentlessness of things, time, space, and everything in between. Having lived across a nature reserve in Singapore his entire life, Calvin’s work traces nature and humanity through the photographic lens. In recent years Calvin has focused his eye on the most pressing issue facing Southeast Asia, telling the story of water in the changing climate.

Calvin’s work has been featured in publications such as the British Journal Of Photography, FT Weekend Magazine, The Independent, Creative Review, Courrier International, Libération, Its Nice That, Nowness Asia, and The Straits Times. He has exhibited internationally at Open Eye Gallery, Liverpool (2022), in festivals like the Singapore International Photography Festival (2020), and last showed Phenomena, a solo exhibition at Chaos Gallery, Singapore (2022).

When not working on projects, you can find him rock climbing or getting lost in the Singaporean jungle. Calvin is also available for editorial and commercial photography commissions.
